Dear Students and Parents,
We hope this message finds you well. We are writing to share important updates regarding tuition options at Japan Karate Do Organization Hombu Dojo, designed to offer greater flexibility and value for our students and families.
Beginning August 1, there will be only two tuition choices:
1. Non-Contracted Plan
Flexible attendance: attend any open class as you wish
No long-term commitment
$185.00 per month
2. Contracted 12-Month Plan
This plan offers discounted rates for students who commit to a full year of training.
Option A: Unlimited Attendance
Attend any number of open classes
$175.00 per month × 12 months = $2,100.00
Discounted one-time payment: $1,925.00
Option B: 2 Classes per Week
Ideal for students with more limited schedules
$165.00 per month × 12 months = $1,980.00
Discounted one-time payment: $1,815.00
Why a 12-Month Commitment Matters
We kindly ask that families consider the importance of the one-year term when enrolling in the contracted plan. A 12-month commitment not only helps students stay on track with their training and progress, but it also reflects the dedication and discipline that martial arts practice cultivates.
Additionally, please understand that the dojo must cover ongoing fixed expenses, such as monthly rent, regardless of class attendance or vacation periods. Even when students are traveling or taking time off, we must pay rent and maintain the facility. For this reason, tuition is billed consistently each month to ensure the continued operation and availability of our training space.
Both contracted plans are eligible for a 1-month free discount when paid in full upfront (pay for 11 months instead of 12).
