Hello JKO members & friends,

This month we have several announcements for March:

1) On March 3rd, we celebrate Hina Matsuri (Doll Festival or Girls’ Festival), a day people pray for girls' happiness and healthy growth.

 2) The Kyu Test is this Wednesday, March 5th starting at 4 pm.

 3) Sunday 03/09 - SoCal Karate National Prep Tournament will be held at Costa Mesa Community Center, Downtown Recreation Center (1845 Park Ave, Costa Mesa, CA). Staging begins at 8:30, competition starts at 9 am. Jo Pledge (714) 319-9309 / Mike Mustoe (714) 290-6970.

 4) Saturday 03/22 - Kumite Seminar 12-2 pm $35 to participate.

 5) Saturday 03/29 - Kata Seminar 12-2 pm $35 to participate.

 6) Sunday 03/30 - 27th Annual USA Wado Ryu Karate Championship at Capo Valley High School (26301 Via Escolar, Mission Viejo, CA 92692). Tel (949)233-2691.

USA Open starts from Wednesday, April 16 thru Sunday, April 20, 2025, at Las Vegas, NV. Horseshoes Hotel and Convention Center.
