Soke, Hanshi and Shihans

The Japan Karate-Do Organization is the premier karate organization in the world. Our school is guaranteed it's authenticity by it's affiliation with the Authentic Shito-Ryu Founders heir, Soke (Grand Master) Kenzo Mabuni.

All the JKO Black Belts are able to receive certification from Soke Mabuni in addition to their JKO rank.

The JKO was founded in 1972 at the request of the Grand Master in Japan and is the oldest professional Karate-Do school in San Diego. Under the leadership of Hanshi Minobu Miki the JKO has grown to over 10 countries.
